Rules of Anime that Never Apply in Real-life.

This can be video-games, anime, anime movies, manga, and so on. Just have some fun picking on random things.

Being possessed by an evil guy gives you a tan, gold eyes and sex appeal.

Darn. You started the thread before I could... Though mine would've been "What we learn from Anime/Video Games" but hey, same principal.

Rule: Never read a book that's older than you are. Either it releases things into your world or you get sucked in.

Rule: No matter how skilled you are at something, when a new adventure starts you suddenly are level one and have to relearn everything.

It's because you trip and all your weapons, items, skills, etc. fall into a sewer or a heating vent. XD

Rule: The bad guy is never the person you think it is first.
examples: KH1 (Heartless --> Maleficent --> Ansem), Kiba (turns out, the good wishgranter guy was actually evil magalomaniac)

Rule: Equivalent exchange always applies... except when it doesn't (usually for plot purposes).

LOL! So true!

Being in a cult requires similar clothing and evil laughs (except for Demyx).

Rule: The bad guys (mostly bosses) always have more hp than you do, even when you are as powerful as you can be.

Even if your opponent has the type advantage and you shouldn't be able to do anything to harm them (i.e. electrocuting a rock), you still have the chance of winning.

It is possible to kill a zombie with love (give them a potion)

All children's games can be used to take over the earth, whether it's a card game or a battle tops game.

Relatively harmless things, such as flower petals and bubbles, can be used as lethal weapons.

No matter how smart the character, they're always bad at something seemingly silly (cooking, noticing that the guys in black are part of some cult, etc)

Staying in the darkness keeps you from aging, and so does staying in weird white rooms.

Actually, pink wasn't a color until the late 1800s. It was "light red" and considered a manly color until the name change. Random fact of the day.

The grass is greener on the other side. Always.
