The world premiere of the movie is Monday night. I can't wait to start reading the reviews, so I can make sure where to set my standards before seeing it myself. From what I've seen, it looks great, but I don't want to get my hopes up just to end up being very disappointed.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Usually they work really hard with books this well-known and popular.

My friend and I are trying to determine when a good time to go see it would be. She kind of wants to go Saturday night, but personally, I'd rather go at like a 4 o'clock showing to avoid rabid, annoying fans.

^ But only rabid fans go to the 4 o'clock showing. XD Wait a week and everyone will have seen it. No rabid fans then.

Yeah, but school will get busy again for the both of us /: the junior high crowd generally gets dropped off on Friday nights by their parents. Saturday is honestly a lot less rabid. I think her and I should just go to a matinee showing on Sunday like we usually do, though.

Wanna bet that the people who are complaining haven't read the book and/or don't have the mental capacity to understand what the book is about?

Ah yes, I remember reading about this in our local paper, or something very similar. It bugs me that people would say that it's "anti-ethnic" or "anti-family." Obviously they never read the books.

Can't comment on that one. Only read the first one, so for all I know it's in later ones.

So glad this isn't true, but from what I've read, it seems as though he did audition for Finnick. Just a few months ago, it was said that none of the Twilight actors would be apart of THG. Just because Lionsgate merged with Summit, doesn't mean their going to have actors doing crossovers, stupid fangirls. ><

Jena Malone has been offered the role of Johanna. I am so happy. She is perfect.

I found this book/movie to be phenomenally better than The Hunger Games.

My mom ended up reading all three of them. She loved the first two, but hated the last one pretty much for the same reasons I disliked it.

I think everyone dislikes the third one for the same reasons.
