Re: Harry Potter
I remember when my mom worked at an allergy clinic and I'd sit in one of the storage rooms when she had to work Saturdays and I finished most of the Harry Potter books in that very room.

Re: Harry Potter
Nice. In my house, my mom would read them out loud to us because me and my brother would fight over who got to read HP first.
Re: Harry Potter
My dad read Prisoner of Azkaban out loud and he couldn't pronounce Hermione's name. It was so funny.

Re: Harry Potter
We had an order on who got to read each book first, out of the three ladies we each bought 2 (my mom bought 3) and the person who bought the book got to read it first, then the person who was last with the previous book, then the person who bought the previous book. It worked out pretty well because my mom and I only needed a day or two to finish any of them

Re: Harry Potter
Nice.
Did you know there's a movie about J.K. Rowling? It's called "Magic Beyond Words." I saw part of it the other day on Lifetime. I recorded the midnight showing and am going to watch the rest later.

Re: Harry Potter
So there's a prequel that we'll all be able to read once Pottermore (or whatever the site's called) is open to the public. When and if. Lots of problems over there, according to a friend who's part of beta-testing.
Re: Harry Potter
Wow. That took awhile. I haven't heard much about it (seen it advertised, etc.) besides what you and your friend told me.
Re: Harry Potter
One of these days I'll get around to rereading the books. ...Or when I can find our audio CDs, listen.
Re: Harry Potter
So I finally got around to joining Pottermore.
I am proud to say I'm a Hufflepuff! Ravenclaw would've been nice, but at least I'm close to the kitchens.

Re: Harry Potter
Haha I'm in Slytherin. I lost interest in Pottermore, though. It's not as fun as I thought it'd be.

Re: Harry Potter
I'm just trying to figure out if that prequel is posted there and if it is, where I can go to read it.
Re: Harry Potter
By the way, I found the prequel.
