The Original Role-Playing High School

It's been four years since the original role-playing high school was built. Still owned and run by the Mars family. It welcomes new students of all races, allowing education to be the number one factor. The first day of school finally arrived, and everyone was required to fill out a form to turn in to homeroom. The bell rings, allowing the students to finally enter the school.

Rules

*Students of high school age only, (14-19), unless it's a child prodigy such as Chiyo (10).
*Classes come and go when all agree to move on, usually morning, lunch, and after school are role-played.
*Fill out the form (profile skeleton) for every character.
*Original characters only.
*There is no schedule, you go with the flow.
*Anyone can join in at any time of the year.
*No more applications are being accepted!!!

Name: Marisa Lynne
Username: Gold Chocobo
Age: 19
Grade: 12th
Gender: Female
Race: Half Elf
Powers: Magic
Appearance:
Short Bio: Marisa Lynne, or Lady Lynne, is the descendant of the great Lynne family from medieval times. Her mother was human and her father was elf, thus she became a half elf, unlike her brother, who is a full elf. Marisa Lynne is generally kind and has a fun personality. She's generally sweet unless you upset her in any sort of manner. Her close friend, whom she nicknamed "Fang", is always in her thoughts as she goes through life. She can use healing magic and a little of elemental, but only her healing has really been mastered. She learned how to infuse magic into her fists so when she punches you it really hurts.

Name: Kimu Sakurahana
Username: Gold Chocobo
Age: 16
Grade: 11th
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Powers: None
Appearance:
Short Bio: Kimu is a shy boy who suffers from anxiety disorder. This disorder caused him to not enjoy life as he should. He feels more comfortable around people younger then him, because he felt like older people could easily take advantage of him. He is an amazing poet and loves to write all the time, although he always gets nervous when it's time to share them.

Name: Cleo Rapniki
Username: Destiny's Gate
Age: 17
Grade: Senior
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Powers: None
Appearance: Sexy, perfect sizes in all the right places.
Short Bio: Sexy obnoxious cheerleader prep. Cleo's got the entire school under her thumb and she knows it. She is the most popular girl in school, with every guy trying to get her and every girl trying to be her friend. If you are on good terms with her, your high school life will be bliss. If you are an enemy, you're life will be pure misery. If she blacklists you, everyone at school will ostracize you. Including the teachers.

Name: Flora Williams
Username: Destiny's Gate
Age: 14
Grade: Freshman
Gender: Female
Race: Lupine
Powers: Great hearing and sense of smell
Appearance: Adorable, short
Short Bio: Born into a race of people with Cynanthropy abilities, Flora is able to turn into a dog at will. She can also turn parts of her canine, such as her ears, and still remain mostly human. For the most part she stays in a perfectly human shape, but on occasion when surprised or angered, the ears and tail will appear on their own. Not that she's trying to keep it secret or anything. Anyway, Flora is a sweet girl and very friendly with everyone, which can lead to many a misunderstanding.

Name: Noah Ocklae
Username: Gold Chocobo
Age: Unknown, appears 15
Grade: 9th
Gender: Male
Race: Angel
Powers: Ask for God's help (only when memory is back)
Appearance:
Short Bio: Noah is an angel, delicate and fragile, who is currently in a war with the hell demons and Satan. Noah can use magic by calling on the power of his savior and God, praying in order to heal or ask for divine judgement. In the war, Noah's wing was damaged and he collapses to the Earth. He lost his memory, and now is gaining bit by bit back once again.

Name: Kurosaki Uzumaki (Most of my OC names are references)
Username: BlueBlaze
Age: 15
Grade: 10
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Powers: None
Appearance: Skinny, scar across the side of his face that doesn't seem like it wants to heal
Short Bio: Kurosaki could be described as a bookworm, a nerd, a know-it-all. He is an anti-social and a loner. But if you were to break through his outer shell, he is actually a kind person. He transferred from his school hoping for a fresh start from the ridicule he got at his old school. Hobbies include: Reading and sketching

Name: Todd Neko
Username: BlueBlaze
Age: 16
Grade: 11
Gender: Male
Race: Human, although the cat ears are an abnormality
Powers: Can hear better then the average human
Appearance: A little shorter then most Grade 11s, hair is usually disheveled.
Short Bio: If you were to look at Todd, he would look like a normal 16 year old boy, well, except for those ears. He has never really known why he had those ears to begin with, they have just always been there. His parents didn't have ears like those, but he doesn't really talk about his parents. He hasn't had an easy life so to speak. His parents are always arguing, he gets made fun of all the time for his ears, and he has been in and out of schools for years. His hobbies include: Listening to music and playing guitar.

Name: Milton
Username: Insectie
Age: 16
Grade: 10th
Gender: Male
Race: Very much human
Powers: Gadgets he's developed for almost any occasion
Appearance: Short, loves his lab coat.
Short Bio: Milton is a genius, at least when it comes to science and math. During the day, he is an honors student and excels in almost every class. At night however, he secretly works to take over the world so nerds everywhere can live in peace. He also hates it when people make fun of his short stature.

Name: Miya
Username: Insectie
Age: 17
Grade: 11th
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Powers: Extensive martial arts knowledge, pretty good with a gun
Appearance: Tough yet graceful
Short Bio: If there's a fight at school, Miya's likley to be around. She's constantly getting in trouble and picking fights, sometimes with guys twice her size, and usually winning. Her family is old money, paying off the school to keep her in, but she resents this and is humble about her wealth.

Name: Setsuko "Yuu-ki" Kei
Username: kuroshikei
Grade: 11 (?)
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Powers: Creating illusions
Appearance: blue-grey eyes, black hair, 5''3 (160 cm)
Short Bio: Only recently, she discovered her newly found ability of casting illusions and had successfully kept that a secret. Setsuko only responds to her name(Not Yuu-ki or Kei; she refuses to acknowledge them… wait- they are not even let known to anyone...). She's normally quiet and likes to say as little as possible. Troubles had been plaguing around her before her transfer and she hoped that she'll be able to escape that in this high school.

Name: Marilyn Fredericks
Username: JupiterLightning
Age: 16
Grade: 11th
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Powers: None. Just super annoying.
Appearance: ‘sexy,’ petite, blonde
Short Bio: Marilyn is a cheerleader whose ultimate goal in high school is to be the most popular person of school. Unfortunately, that title has been filled already by the senior Chloe. But Marilyn is determined to stay on Chloe’s good side no matter what in hopes of earning the title of most popular girl in school after Chloe graduates. Marilyn acts dumb a lot, because she thinks it’s the cool thing to do, but she is actually very intelligent. She just doesn’t have any common sense.

Name: Ruth Carter
Username: JupiterLightning
Age: 17
Grade: 12th
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Powers: fast, very athletic.
Appearance: Tall and slender. Very plain looking, tom-boyish.
Short Bio: Ruth is the older stepsister of Marilyn, but the two really don’t associate with one another other than living under the same roof together as they have nothing in common. She neither likes nor dislikes her younger stepsister, but she does find Marilyn rather annoying at times. Ruth is the star player of the girls’ basketball team, and hopes to play basketball at a Division I college after graduating high school. She also does well academically. She is also just as boy crazy, if not more, than Marilyn, but she’s better at hiding it.

Name: Dmitri Vasilyvev
Username: JupiterLightning
Age: 16
Grade: 11th
Gender: Male
Race: half-human/half-basilisk
Powers: Strength. Venomous bite. Can entrance others with a glance. Can shape shift from human to a partial basilisk at will.
Appearance: Tall. Dark hair. Brown eyes. Basilisk form: still human, but with green scaly skin and red eyes.
Short Bio: Dmitri is a descendant of the legendary creature known as the basilisk. One of his ancestors was a basilisk, but both his parents are perfectly human. The basilisk gene only pops up about every other generation or so. He can shape-shift into this form, but don’t expect him to turn into some giant snake, like the one in Harry Potter. He would still look perfectly human, just with scaly skin and red eyes. But being half-basilisk has given him some great powers, powers that he’s willing to use in a good way or a bad way. He doesn’t mind playing hero or villain. He’ll side with whichever side is winning, or whatever side will benefit him the most. He’s a very cold person and keeps to himself. If he trusts someone immensely, then and only then will he warm up and reveal his secrets.

Name: Natalie Bīto
Username: BlueBlaze
Age: 14
Grade: 9
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Powers: Nothing of importance
Appearance: Shorter than most 14 year olds
Short Bio: Natalie is just your normal, average 14 year old girl. She is shy with most other people and she stutters around people she doesn't know all that well. She just moved so she doesn’t really know many people in town. She usually listens to music when she's alone although she can’t play any instruments.

Name: Noelle December-Pryce
Username: Noelle's December
Age: 16 (the year she stopped aging)
Grade: 10
Gender: Female
Race: fey (or faery and I do not mean Tinkerbell, haha)
Powers: Winter glamour (a fey magic that allows her to distort reality, emotions, etc and also control ice, hail, and snow)
Appearance: Incredibly long black hair (touches the floor), so black it looks blue in the right light; intense, large and icy green eyes, almost covered by hair; incrediblely tall (she's 6"3') and thin, long fingers; finger nails painted blue; she has long pointed ears the poke out from behind that hair of hers. She is incredibly beautiful, as all fey are.
Short Bio: Only daughter of Queen Mab, Noelle is the favorite of her mother and the Winter Court in Tir Na Nog. Raised to be emotionless and manipulative, Noelle orignally had 3 brothers, Sage (who treated her the kindest), Rowan (who manipulated her) and Ash (who hardly knew she was there). But then her world turned when Sage was murdered by Rowan, who pledged alliegance with their sworn enemy, the Iron Fey and, worst of all, Ash became a knight to, and loved, a half-breed Summer princess who now ruled the Iron Fey. No humans know about Noelle being fey, her glamour hides the appearance. She hardly speaks, and when she does, it's almost inaudiable. But she is always heard humming "My {Dsmbr."

Marisa was sitting in the cafeteria, a light smile on her face. She was finally a Senior. She was older then most of the Seniors, but that was because she didn't start the education system until later due to her father's wishes. She was glad that it was all finally coming down to the last year. Although she had plenty of money to live without ever having a job, she planned to go to college, because she didn't want to rely on the support of her family. Actually, no one really knew how rich she was, because she didn't wear clothes that were super popular or name brand. She just wore what she liked,

"Well, at least it's bright and sunny out. It's hard to get days like these during school." She said to herself.

Kimu was in the lunch room, sitting at a table with some Freshmen. There was no empty tables, and he tended to stick around the younger kids. He didn't like people who were his age or older, because he felt they could take advantage of him. He was extremely shy, which could be one of his down falls, but he loves poetry. He was currently writing at the table he was sitting at, glad that no one was talking to him yet. He was somehow able to relax to the sound of speaking, as long as it wasn't to him.

It had been two months since Noah lost his memory. The family that took him in assumed he was 15, since the doctors said his body was in that shape, and sent him to this high school. It had been two months since it started, and he was looking for a place to sit in the cafeteria. Although he looked like a shy boy, he was actually very open, just fragile for unknown reasons. He felt a strange connection to religion, which was one of the only things he could remember besides his name, which is why he's very religious. However, he doesn't push his view onto others. He wondered if anyone would want him to sit with him. He hoped it wasn't the mean crowd, they really annoyed him.

Flora was practically skipping to the cafeteria. Apparently, this was where people waited for the first bell to ring so that they could go to their lockers. A strange tradition, she thought, but what did she know? Humans were strange, but so interesting!

"Oh, I should read some human books," she said, realizing how much she stuck out. She didn't mind if people discovered she was lupine, but she certainly wanted to honor the traditions of the humans around her. This was a human school, and some of the things she'd learned in etiquette classes might only apply to lupines, not humans.

She dug in her bag to retrieve an encyclopedia on humans, written by a famous lupine author, and flipped through it. It was in another language, but as this was her native tongue, she could read it. Actually, Flora was in the human world at a human high school as part of an "exchange" program. She wanted to work as an ambassador between the two races, and as "werewolf" things were popular at the moment, now was the time to create relations.

"Right. So you say 'hello' to humans when you want to talk to them." Far different than the Lupine way of howling. She looked around the room for someone to try this with.

There was a boy who looked rather fragile. She could go talk to him. Easy. "Hello!" she said brightly to Noah.

Cleo stalked into the room and surveyed her competition. So far, no one worth worrying about. She glanced at her "friends" behind her. "We're so going to rule the school again, girls," she said, smirking. Then she looked around once more. Meh. No boys worth much of anything. Some she could easily make into her drooling-vegetable slaves, but none that were boyfriend material. Yet.

She chose the best table in the cafeteria and sat. Bored, she inspected her perfectly manicured fingernails. "So," she said, looking at her clique, "what should we do first?"

Noelle sat in a corner of the cafeteria, a cold chill swirling around her. She poked at the 'human food' and glanced over at the students. Shifting uncomfortably as the iron in the steel chair burned her thighs, Noelle cursed under her breath.
Wonderful, just wonderful. Iron chair, iron table, inside an iron box.
She unzipped her black backpack, which displayed the Unseelie's design: a red rose surrounded by a black vine with silver thorns, and slipped on the amulet, which would nullify the iron's pain...a bit.
Noelle sighed. Better...for now.
Would this day ever end?
(I got the picture to work...finally.)

"I don't know about you, Cleo, but I really want to sleep," Marilyn replied, resting her head on the table. After staying up late on the phone and sleeping the day away all summer, she really hated having to be up and around so early in the morning.

Ruth entered the cafeteria and made her way toward her friends. Mostly the athletes of the school. However, her step-mother wanted her to branch out this year and make friends that were a part of other crowds, like the 'ditzy clan' her step-sister Marilyn was involved in.

Ruth sighed and sank back into her chair, listening to her friends' conversations quietly as she looked around the room. She was a senior. Would it even matter if she made other friends or not?

Dmitri sat alone and surveyed his fellow classmates. Although he was a junior, this was his first year at this school. He had been home schooled before this, so this was quite overwhelming to him.

He contemplated just skipping for the day. However, his parents would always end up finding out somehow. He knew it was best just to stay put for now.

She sighed for the umpteenth time. Everything in new high schools seemed the same. Cliques and groups all over. Hidden rules she'll not doubt break them. It's not like she's not used to it though... She tilted her head as she spotted the group of females lounging around the cafeteria. She did a cursory sweep over the place.

Yep. A clique over there. Best to avoid them. For now.

She strolled into the cafeteria, ponytail swinging behind as she make an effort to avoid the attention of the clique. The ever familiar mask of politeness slipped over her while she made a beeline to one of the vending machines.

I need to have something sweet. Then I'll attempt socializing...

Miya sat to the left of Cleo, being her bodyguard and enforcer. Anyone stupid enough, freshman and transfer students almost exclusively, to try to fight Cleo or any of her friends would answer to Miya first.

By their looks, not a single person in this crowd, even the boys, could take me. She thought as she looked at the faces that turned away at her gaze. Though she secretly hoped to one day find a rival, for now she'd have to settle for little punks.

Milton walked into the cafeteria, quietly sat down at a empty table on the edge of the room and got out his metal lunch-box. His lunch was the lunch of geniuses -- 12 individual cups of strawberry-banana yogurt, kept cold by his box's liquid cooling system.

Halfway through his first day, and no one had made fun of him yet. A new record. Shame though in a way. I can't wait to collect data on my new maser disintegration-ray. He thought, feeling the large cylindrical object hidden under his lab-coat. Field tests for true scientists involved scarifies.

(Sorry I haven't been around recently, I've been dealing with personal problems and emotional issues, but I'm here now, no need to worry.)

Kurosaki walked into the cafeteria and sighed. Another school, more chances to get ridiculed. He thought to himself as he looked over the students all sitting around. He strolled over to and empty table and fixed his glasses. He took out a book from his bag and decided to read before the next class started, rather then go through the normal social conventions of being at a new school.

Todd took a seat in the cafeteria and scratched behind his ears, blinking sleepily. His parent fought again last night, keeping him up through most of it, not like it wasn't a normal occurrence to him. He thought of just taking a nap before class but he can remember the last time he tried that, the only person that decided to wake him up was his homeroom teacher and he wasn't very happy about it. Todd just stared forward, hoping the bell would break him out of the trance.

Natalie walked into the cafeteria and gulped, standing in the doorway. There were so many people there, she didn't want to be around all these people all at once. Her eyes darted from side to side as she surveyed the room. I should probably move from this doorway... Her mind wanted to tell her, but her emotions disagreed, keeping her feet planted in that spot in the doorway.

Noah was surprised that someone had talked to him. He looked up at her, tilting his head slightly as he said,

"Hi, how are you?" Although he had lost his memory, the two months had given him time to remember general human manners, culture, and what not once more. Or, at least he thought it was once more. Being polite, he decided to usher the other person to sit down,

"You can sit down." He said with a gentle smile.

Noelle drummed her blue fingernails on the table, ready to crawl out her skin. Many humans talked to one another, their loud chatter practically deafing the winter princess.
"The one that comes over," Noelle thought, "Is the one that becomes an ice statue in Mab's garden."
She was not there to make friends; she was their to find Ash.
The winter princess sighed. "Oh, Ash...older brother, where are you?"

"I'm doing quite well, thank you," Flora said, sitting where Noah had indicated. "I'm new here. My name's Flora Williams. What might your name be?"

She was following the book she'd just glanced through almost word for word. Say hello and introduce yourself if this is your first meeting. So far, it wasn't too difficult.

"Ugh, I second that, Twin," Cleo said, leaning back in her chair. Sometimes she referred to Marilyn as her 'Twin,' since they were so much alike. They were like sisters from another mother. Just, Cleo was in charge.

"See anything to do yet?" she asked Miya. She of course meant "anyone to bully," but they had to be discreet. It was still the first day, after all.

"A few. Most easy though." Miya responded to Cleo. "There's the tiny nerd over there with the glasses and lab coat. And the other kid reading. And that girl standing there with the headphones." As she talked she pointed at Milton, Kurosaki and Natalie.

She recognized a few of them from last year, though didn't remember their names.

"Eh, I'd rather find cute boys to flirt with!" Marilyn responded. She then frowned.

"But... I should be getting to class. My stupid step-dad said if I had a bunch of tardies again this years, I'd be grounded all spring. I wouldn't want to miss the dance, and I know Ruth will found out if I miss and tell on me!" She folded her arms and glared at the brunette teen over at another table.

Noelle's stomach rumbled. She hadn't eaten that morning, and thankfully classes hadn't started so she could eat if she wanted to. Her icy green eyes flickered back and forth quickly before she pulled a Winterpod with a small smile. She bit into the soft flesh of the pale pink, pear-shaped fruit. It sent a comforting, familiar chill through her body.
A piece of home...Noelle thought, taking another small bite of the tender fruit. No human could see this. Fey food had...strange effects on them when they ate it.

"Man, what a jerk," Cleo agreed with Marilyn. "You can't just not go to the dance. You'd be a total laughing stock, and then we'd be total laughing stocks. We need to rule this school with an iron fist, ladies." Of course, that wasn't hard, considering they'd ruled the roost for years. They just had to put the new kids in their places.

"So, like, I got dibs on that stud muffin," she added, pointing to Dmitri.

Noah felt relieved when she said that, "I'm new around here too!" He said in a excited tone. That made him feel better about being in a new school, a new home, and a living a new life,

"My name is Noah Ocklae," he said with a gentle smile, "it's nice to meet you Flora!"
