The Multiverse
Description
From all over different universes, characters have resided in dimensions from books, movies, comics, television shows, video games and more. However, there is one being that exists within the crossroads of every one of these universes, who has named himself "The Overlord". He is a faceless being of nearly infinite power, living in a realm named "The Multiverse". This mysterious Overlord enjoys bringing various characters from secluded universes and watching how they would react with each other, as if they were toys. He has been monitoring the beings that reside within the other universes, deciding on which characters were worthy enough to be brought into his realm
The Multiverse itself is made up of all sorts of buildings from all sorts of time periods. From the old west, to medieval Japan, to the future. There are townhouses, castles, caves, skyscrapers, tree-houses, and so much more. They tend to group together by type with appropriate terrain nearby but they also shift and move around the city as a whole. Entire structures appear and disappear, either by itself or by the Overlord's will. The Multiverse is surrounded by darkness on all sides. It is alone in an otherwise empty existence. In the center of the city is a gigantic hourglass. Every 24 hours, the sand from the top of the glass fills the bottom. When that happens, the entire hourglass rises into the air, flips over, and slams in the ground, the earthquake-esque vibrations shooting through the entire Multiverse. This marks the passing of each day, when a new "theme" occurs. These "themes" can have various effects, sometimes positive, often times negative
Whenever a new character arrives from their home universe, they wake up in the city. It's alright to bring a base/dwelling place, a companion or whatever else the character normally has with then within reason. If it's a base/dwelling place it becomes incorporated into the Multiverse and becomes part of it. If they have a communication device, they will find that it now has a strange button on it. If they do not, they will receive one related to their theme and home universe. The characters will also tend to function on the laws of their home universe (So anime physics for anime characters, video game physics for video game characters, etc.)
Rules
1. Blah blah blah, usual rules
2. Characters can be from ANY piece of media (Hell, it can even be from a webcomic)
3. To register a character, post a link to a Wiki about the character.
4. No character limit

Re: The Multiverse
Wow. This is a rather big and complicated RP. O.o
So... is the point to take down the overlord? I just want to know so I can pick some good characters.

Re: The Multiverse
He is the Big Bad yes, and the main objective to try to get out of the Multiverse and back to their respective universes, but this is really more about the characters interacting on their way to this big bad. Also, the characters must wake up dazed and confused as to where they are.Destiny's Gate wrote:Wow. This is a rather big and complicated RP. O.o

Re: The Multiverse
I sent BlueBlaze an email saying there was interest in this RP again. Hopefully he'll come back.
Re: The Multiverse
I would like to be Link and/or Kirby if it is possible, and the overlord could be Tabuu (the "overlord" of Super Smash Bros Brawl)
(I want to put the links but, as i'm new, i can't put any links in any posts)

Re: The Multiverse
Ah, the no links again... it's a setting I can't change, sadly, and it prevents spam.
Also, I don't think Blueblaze has been around lately... I'll send him an email.
