Angels and Demons

Plot:
There has been a war between angels and demons for centuries. Now, on the 1000th summer, the war has reached its zenith. Who will win? Or will the world be destroyed?

Rules:
1. 3 character max (please, if three, don't make them all one kind, like, no three angels)
2. No killing someone else's character without permissoin
3. If you are absent from the site for two weeks without away message or one month with, your character will be killed or dropped, depending on the situation. In other words, if you plan to be gone a while, please try to get your characters out of the action. (if you do that, you can join back in.)
4. No side is totally right.

Short Bio: One of the youngest angels, Kana doesn't question why angels and demons fight. She's never met a demon. She became the Angel of Death after a demon killed the last one. She guides souls to the afterlife and helps them with their lingering regrets, leading them to become angels. She can be a little clueless and extremely outspoken, especially on issues she doesn't know much about.

Powers: Can summon and control an unlimited number of swords, master swordswoman
Short Bio: Seraphiel is the archangel of justice and as such she is tasked with punishing the wicked and cleansing those who go against the heavens. Always quick to act, she is not afraid to lay down some Old-Testament style divine wrath, especially on demons, which she despises.

Powers: A persuasive tongue and intellectual
Short Bio: Dmitri was once a demon who once tricked souls by luring them to their early demises. He fed off of the grief and sadness from families of the souls he had stolen. One day, he crossed paths with an angel named Elise who was sent to stop him. The battled lasted for two days straight and Dmitri had the upper hand. However, he could not bring himself to vanquish the angel. Confused by his conflicting thoughts, he fled the battle. Several months had passed and the demon lurked in the shadows, watching the angel's every move whenever he could. He finally realized that he had feelings for her and eventually came to her for help as he could no longer take pleasure in stealing souls. She willingly helped him and many years later, he earned his wings and title of an angel. He was no longer a demon. Soon, Elise disappeared, leaving Dmitri distraught. Instead of vanquishing demons, he desire is to help those who were willing to change and to find Elise.

Short Bio: Mr. Evil is the self-proclaimed Lord of Evil and Master of Chaos. No one is really sure if this claim is true or not and it’s possible he’s just an average middle-age delusional demon with fancy armor and a fancy magical sword. Because he is the ‘true’ lord of evil he aims to take over and rule all of heaven and hell.

Powers: Spreading sorrow and negativity (formerly spreading happiness and positivity)
Short Bio: Elise met and fell for the demon Dmitri, helping him overcome his demonic ways. Everything was going well and for once, she was happy. One fateful night, she crossed paths with many demons who blamed her for Dmitri's change of heart. She was defeated in battle and kidnapped by the gang of demons. She was brainwashed by their darkness and she became a demonic being.

Powers: A cold aura that can drop as low as absolute zero, Ice Breath, Freeze anything he touches, and fire icicles.
Short Bio: Absolute is the conjuration of all souls lost in the depths of the frozen waste lands. He despises anything that is warm and moves. With his chilling powers he can turn the entire area as low as absolute zero leaving very few alive and moving as particles slow to almost a complete halt with his chill. When he's not focusing on chilling the air he can scratch with his needle sharp ice claws, freeze anything he either touches or hits with his ice breath, or shoot icicles that he forms from the water around him. He fights on the side of the demons as he grows stronger the more souls he can gather. /b]

Powers: None, but her dragon is able to breath fire, etc.
Short Bio: Tabytha is a strong woman who believes in the power that God promises. Growing up near a royal palace, she learned to fight for a young prince who had, in essence, given her Silverite. She decided to fight on the side of the angels, because the prince, as well as the king, supports them.

Short Bio: Caranthir is an outcast from the elven capital after the mysterious disappearance of his parents. He has set out on a journey using the research his parents left behind to become a ranger. He can battle with his duel swords and channel the power of nature through his body. Caranthir believes in freedom and balance as he is about to be thrown into the middle of this godly conflict.

Race: Was once Human, now serves as a Undead Knight
Weapons: His Black Shield Banshee and his large Zweihander known as Deathbringer
Powers: Various Dark Spells and Abilities, Undying Resolve(never gives up), Berserker Rage
Short Bio: A resilient Black Knight clad in Armor from Head to toe. His family was cursed to serve Heaven for one Millennium and was betrayed near the end of his sentence by giving him up to hell so they would not have to free his family of their curse. He served hell and rose to be a respected general but upon the time of the 1000th summer he and his battalion defected from Hell's forces and started a Mercenary group known as "The Hellhounds". Protecting Human Souls from Heaven and Hell alike is their Ulterior goal. This Mercenary group accepted tasks from Heaven and Hell as long as they were paid in Souls which were used to enhance their weapons and armor all for protecting humanity from Heaven and Hell. As Arthur was betrayed by Heaven and knew of Hell's Treacherous Morale and equated the 2 of being different in appearance but having the same goals.

Amidst a battlefield bloodstained vermilion was Arthur who stood alone on top of countless bodies of Angelic and Demonic Forces alike. Arthur let out a demonic howl that shook the entire battlefield in fear. Arthur's vengeance for Heaven's betrayal and Hell's aggression were second to none. They would fear his blade. And in a mere moment later Arthur took the fight to them. His blade and resolve never wavering. He noticed the wounded and possibly dying human warrior from afar and rushed to her aid. From there he planted his armored greaves into the ground, his cape billowing in the wind and his armor making a metallic clanking that would freeze the cowardly dead in their tracks.

This wandering soldier of the battlefield drew his large blade and shield to his front and prepared for battle.

"The battle begins anew...I hunger...."

Within the helm his eyes glowed in anticipation.

"I serve neither heaven or hell. These souls are not yet expunged Angel of Death just look at them, their transparent form, they can be saved from such a cruel fate.. Do not underestimate human willpower, your lust for living souls clouds your judgment. Begone specter! Hear me valiant souls of the battlefield! Do you want to be remembered and not wiped away by the tides of fate!? Then you must fight for your very spiritual existence lest it be erased forever in Heaven or consumed by the denizens of Hell. This war only cares about Heaven and Hell, they care not for the Welfare of any single Human being. Never give up your right to life! Your souls belong only to you. No one else." The Dark Knight's voice attempted to reach those that were at death's door.

The knight directed his attention to the Angel wielding the scythe.

"Are you going to steal lives or will you spare them specter?"

(wait, I'm way behind aren't I?)

"We will finish this another time. You are not the only one's here."

The Dark Knight Rushed out and blocked the fireballs with his shield. He walked toward the demonic entity that burst from the Volcano, it started as a slow clanking walk but gradually picked up speed into a bolting running pace.

"HOW.....DISHONORABLE!"

Insectie wrote:
"The True Lord of Evil needs no invitation! Now then, I have fighting to do."
Mr. Evil thought he could do pretty much whatever he wanted.

He turned back to the more pressing issue: the giant knight charging at him.
"Dishonorable? I'm a demon; its kinda what I do."
Sticking his sword in the ground, a wall of flames shot up from underground in front of his would-be attacker.

The Black Knight drew his massive Shield forth. It's demonic face opened up wide and the fire wall went straight into it's mouth. The Shield pulsated and glowed a darker color and a black wall of fire was redirected at Mr. Evil. As the Flames left the Demonic Shield it let out an Ear Piercing Screech.

"You'll have to do better then that, play with fire and you'll only get burned..." was the Knight's only response.

The Knight continued his approach. His blade was gathering Dark Energy from the battlefield, remnants of hatred, fear, and sorrow littered the air.
