Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli Movies

For the rabid fans of Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli.

Ban Disney from redubbing the old movies!

^ They're going to redub stuff?

They already have with some of them and it just sounds wrong.

They redubbed My Neighbor Totoro and Nausica of the Valley of the Wind, I know. I never heard the original vocal track, so with nothing to compare to, I think the new one's good.

As for the original Nausica... Well, that's the reason we weren't ever going to see another Ghibli movie until Pixar convinced Miyazaki Disney would do it right.

Maybe I should bring in the original My neighbor Totoro. We have that VCR tv in the back.

A darker Miyazaki film in the works?

He's done a few dark ones in the past. Grave of the Fireflies was definitely dark. Princess Mononoke was dark, though it had a happy ending.

So any news on that darker Miyazaki movie?
