I didn't like any pairings when I was kid, but I knew that Ash like Misty, but I HATED the idea of the two together. xDD When I was a kid I didn't like any type of pairing.... xD

I think Gold likes that one. I'm an Ash x Misty fan myself.

Really as kid I always thought that all the females Ash teamed up with were all platonic but whenever Gary came around he was like the only person that could touch him(or phase him). Anywho, another thing I reallly noticed were that NONE of the pokemon females were ever consistent, Gary was always doing his thing in the BG and that never changed, Ash hasnt changed n over 13 years he should be like 17 or something by now, Brock comes and goes every once in a while to be replaced with older Tracy but they always had intechangeable roles. But when it came to the girsl theres always one that uscceeds the one before her and they always make it seem like Ash is mentoring them in one thing or another...
