No.6

So I just watched episode 1 of an anime called No.6, which is pretty interesting. I have no idea what's going on, but it's pretty nifty.

And Gold would love it. I'm pretty sure there's something going on between the two main characters, Shion and Rat. And this is coming from me.

Basically, a really smart kid named Shion has a fugitive named Rat run into his room. They say this place is a "utopia" where the government does everything for their people, but there's something going on below the surface, something that Rat knows about. That's pretty much all that happens in the first episode.

*watching episode 2* Yeah... Shion's probably Gay.

Don't watch this if you're afraid of bugs, by the way. It will only serve to make it worse. Especially if it's bees that freak you out.

This seems like a really cool series. I believe I will keep watching.

Yes. I kept poking around, 'cause only three episodes were available on Anime Network. Turns out, they're cannon-ly gay for each other (proven by the clips of their kiss online). Also, Nezumi/Rat dresses as a chick regularly. Apparently, he acts, and his acting alter-ego is Eve.

I don't mind as long as it's pretty much canon.

That's the op. I have to say, the video is gorgeous, but as my mom says, it sounds like a duck singing.

Wow. This is probably one of the most "adult" anime I've ever watched. It's not graphic, but there's quite a bit of adult theming going on.

The book I'm reading is an adult fantasy and so far it's so different from YA fantasies. Yay for adultness sometimes XD

Yeah. It's nice to have something a little different for once. I mean, seriously, who's ever heard of a distopian society that's PG?

Haha seriously. There was even a lot stuff in The Hunger Games that was borderline adult.

Anymore everything is borderline adult.

I've seriously fallen in love with this ending song.

Been watching more of this series.

Finally saw the ending.

11 episodes of AWESOME!

I never would've guessed that ending from the start, but once I saw the ending, I kicked myself for not seeing it. It's subtle, but all the clues were there from the start. Man, was it nice to not be able to guess the ending for once.

I do like how Rat plays a girl part, because during the Renaissance men usually played women parts as well

Yep. During Shakespearean times, women weren't allowed to act, so it was all guys. And in Japan, Kabuki is all-male too, I believe.

XD Agreed. Man, I just watched episode 5 where they danced, it was really cute <3.

But now I have to do my Macbeth essay before I can watch more. ;-; (Ironic right?)

That certainly is ironic. Too bad Nezumi was doing Hamlet and not Macbeth.
