Re: War on Women
Indeed. Ryan kept mentioning he only believed that it should be done in rape, incest, and life of the mother cases. He's lying, because many of the southern states are trying to pass laws that make it illegal no matter what.
Going a little off topic here, Martha Raddatz was an awesome moderator. Much better than the one last week during the presidential debate. She asked them more specific questions, which forced them to be more specific. Ryan had a hard time with that one.

And with this, let's hope that the War On Women is over. We kicked ass!

Re: War on Women
So Colbert was making fun of FOX (as he usually does) and mentioned something that struck me as possibly one of the dumbest things from a woman at FOX yet.
Basically, someone on FOX says that women need to "surrender to their femininity" (read: go back to 1950) in order to get married, because the whole women working for their own goals really turns men off to marriage.

Re: War on Women
Fox is becoming more and more irrelevant. I do think some people are starting to realize it, though.

Re: War on Women
^ That's just scary. Especially since those losers are the ones who complain about Constitutionality of guns, but what they're proposing is unconstitutional according to Roe v. Wade.
Re: War on Women
Yeah. It's like, "If you take our guns, we're gonna take away women's rights!"
I suppose it is punishment for the women who voted Democrat back in November. I don't think this whole ordeal will stick once the state's Supreme Court of the federal Supreme Court steps in.

Re: War on Women
So the constitutional right to abortions should be preserved but not the constitutional right to guns?
Re: War on Women
No offense, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't go off topic. I wouldn't go into a gun topic and go on about rape culture. Please don't come into my thread about the war on women and rape culture and talk about guns. Thank you.Insectie wrote:So the constitutional right to abortions should be preserved but not the constitutional right to guns?

Er... I was just responding to you...

Re: War on Women
And I was pointing out that the people who are trying to limit the rights of women are the same ones who complain that we can't threaten constitutional rights that affect them.Insectie wrote:Er...
