Survived six class periods full of 7th graders yesterday!

So my school screwed up and placed two interns in the same classroom with the same teacher on the same day, which is against the rules. So, I spoke to my professor about it last Monday and she said to wait and see if the other girl ends up showing up on Friday, which is my intern day. I talked to the teacher I am observing and she told me that she had never heard from nor did the principal approach her about taking another intern and she told me not to worry about it, because she wouldn't take another intern anyway.

So the day went on and the girl showed up at 1:30 that afternoon... She never even called the teacher first and she showed up out of the blue in the middle of the day, which is a HUGE no-no. The teacher was a little irritated and told the principal that she wasn't taking her and told her to put the girl in a different class.

Today I snitched on that girl, because she didn't follow the guidelines given to us. It was unprofessional to never contact the teacher and to show up in the middle of the day like that as well.

I'm sure the teacher, principal, and professor all said very similar things to what you did, too.

Yeah, my professor thanked me for telling her and she said she would get to the bottom of it. I feel bad, but then again I don't feel bad. I'm trying to make connections so I can potentially get a job in this district when I graduate and I'm sure that girl is trying to do the same, but she messed up big time so her making herself look bad and getting in trouble for it ruins her chances of getting hired there.

I'm working with kindergartners tomorrow for the next four Wednesdays. Wish me luck! I'm a little afraid. XD

I played the Violin for a while, then quit because my parents wanted me to practice. XD

I can play the trumpet, but just a little.
I mean, I can read the notes, and stuf, and I CAN play the trumpet, but not too long, and not too fast...
Violinists seem to be much more than people that can play other instruments...
Like 20 violinists per other instrument GOOD players
