Highlights Of The Day

Two weeks ago, my Tuesday/Thursday class was canceled because my teacher had a death in the family and now I don't have class next Tuesday, because the College of Education professors have a big meeting, and then lecture for the same class is canceled on Thursday, so the class can work on their projects. Now I just found out that all of the afternoon classes are canceled on October 4th for some reason. I kind of hate the fact that my favorite class this semester gets canceled all the dang time, but I can't complain much. Classes at my old college rarely got canceled.

I got free food and a spray tattoo at college.

I FINISHED MY PROGRAM ASSIGNMENT WITH MINIMUM HELP!!!!!! And a day early!

So a few weeks ago, I had a mental breakdown because of two very difficult papers that I had to write. One was fifteen pages long while the other was about eleven pages long. I finally got my grades for both papers and I made an 88 and a 95 on them. The one that I made an 88 on, I can make changes to so I can get a better score on it. I'm relieved I don't have to do too much to it to get an A.

I went to a creative writing conference today and I met an awesome author!

I didn't do so well on my math midterm, so my teacher let me make corrections and she gave me more points back than I thought she would. I was worried my overall grade would drop to a C, but I have a high B and I can probably finish the class with an A if I decide to do the extra credit project.

I've been waiting months for this.

I was part of a lawsuit against iTunes and my side won! What happened was, they had giftcards a couple of years back saying that 'all songs are 99 cents.' However, the price went up to $1.29 on a lot of songs, especially top forty hits. I ended up getting store credit back from the $1.29 songs that I purchased during that time-frame.

How much was it total? A few bucks?

So today on campus, a group of student Romeny supporters were handing out airheads (the candy).

I got the co-op I wanted!

They seriously picked the wrong candy to sell, unless they had some anti-Obama theme to go along with it.

Nope. And they weren't selling it. It was free. They were handing out Romeny t-shirts/pens/stickers and stuff too.

Also, I mixed up a batch of Mars brine today. FINALLY

I've managed (with my dad's help) to make my netbook's Linux work!
Also, I'm dowloading Call of Duty Black Ops
(I know that the secund is really a sillines, but I like to play CoD)

I finished my Penguindrum presentation. 124 slides of epic abstract symbolism in a weird as hell anime.

I figured out a good chunk of my programming assignment. Now all my stuff in the RenderMonkey software looks right.

Now to just get it to print out correctly in openGL... I've already arranged to see the prof again tomorrow, and hopefully that will be all I need to get that to work.
