You can't stop people from stealing art.

Well, there's such a thing as copyright. Or you just watermark or stamp everything.

If we don't do that, it's the beggining of the end of original art...

So I didn't get a chance to go get some of my textbooks yesterday and I checked the website in hopes that the bookstore would be open today, but there was nothing on the site and I see a Facebook status that the school posted, saying that the bookstore would be open until two today and they posted the status at one o'clock. It would have been more helpful had they posted this information last night... or on their website, for that matter.

University bookstores don't really care much about the students, as long as they still pay obscene amounts of money.

True. Now I have no textbooks until after class on Monday. But my teachers are going to have to get over it.

Thats ok. Most classes I know don't do anything out of the textbook on the first day of class. They might assign work out of it, but nothing that day. Though my hardcore science classes might be different from normal classes.

Yeah. I just don't want to spend five hours on an assignment that's due the next day just because I had to wait for a copy of the textbook because it was sold out. I don't want to go through that again.

I hate what they can say is healthy for your kids on TV.

Around here they keep advertising a flavored milk brand called "Troomoo." They say it's good for kids, blah blah blah, it's healthy, so on and so forth. So I looked it up.

It has more sugar than a twinkie. Twinkies have 18 grams of sugar in a serving. A glass of Chocolate Troomoo has 22 grams.

Right. Healthy. BS.

I know I mentioned it before saying it was unhealthy, but I never looked up the actual nutrition. I brought it up again because every other commercial I see seems to be that chocolate milk.

I hate it when my parents ask me if I feel alright after coming from the orthodontist.
Oh, yes, mom, I feel FANTASTIC after having someone work on my teeth for an hour, pracitcally ripping my teeth out to get a wire out for no reason and then putting it back in using twice the amount of force, therefore, twice the amount of pain!
IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE HIT ME IN THE TEETH WITH A HAMMER, HOW DO YOU GUYS THINK I FEEL?!

You could always take an advil or something before you go in. That's what I always did.

If you want, I could give you the name of my orthodontist. He didn't go quite so midevil on my mouth.

I have braces as well. Take Advil before you go to your appointment or bring some and take it right after they're done working on your teeth.

I did that once, to answer both you girls, and I didn't realize I had a wire poking my cheek until the advil wore off. Then I was stuck with that wire.

It's not so bad today, maybe that's becuase I just took some meds....

You take it literally right before you go in. That way it doesn't kick in until after you leave. Smile

Planning a fun getaway trip and of course an argument happens before it's time to leave. It never fails.

Yeah. It's not my fault my dad started things but didn't finish them this morning. He's been off since Wednesday. /: And he expects me to finish what he started and then he rushes me.
