Stupid, stupid Kansas legislature!

On the bright side, this part will go straight to the supreme court:

These include allowing doctors to withhold medical information from women if it might cause them to have an abortion and protecting medical professionals from facing malpractice claims in the event of health complications for the mother or child. A wrongful death suit could be filed in the event of a woman's death.

It's unconstitutional.

Nothing in the constitution guarantees much of anything to women. I know they used "man" as for "the human race," but a good lawyer (probably Republican) can spin it into "All these rights are for men alone... except that voting thing."

Well, the Oklahoma Supreme Court deemed the personhood bill unconstitutional, which in my eyes was a very huge surprise and a huge stepping stone. if Oklahoma's Supreme Court can do that, then I believe the Supreme Court on the national level will do the same for these other bills out there if they ever get too far.

Yup yup. Precedent's been set. Courts don't like to mess with the precedents. Which is why the Oklahoma supreme court shot it down.

Stupid people. Abortions are, what, 1% of Planned Parenthood? There's a heck of a lot more to Planned Parenthood.

Also, the latter link supports my theory that the Republican party should split, since I'm tired of those kind of people being associated with with the rest of Republicans. They don't speak for everyone in the party.

That said, all of those proposals make no sense. I just think they're either stupid or are really trying to make us a theocracy.

What I find funny is they say "There have never been any complaints from students and parents about the school policy..." Well, parents of guys don't care. And if a girl or her family complains, they claim she's pregnant and give her the boot.

This one is absolutely ridiculous! 5% of rapes result in pregnancy according to Planned Parenthood, which could be considered "rare" but it still happens! What a dumb He should get kicked out of office for being a total moron.

Well, I guess this whole issue blew up really big since yesterday afternoon. He is in huge trouble now and is now trying to say that he 'misspoke.'

Well duh. He's pissed off every woman in America, regardless of what side of the debate they're on, and any man who has half a brain.
