How do you manage to sit on a sled wrong? O.o I didn't know you could do that.

Knew it was going to happen.

Cartoon Network made a really crappy-looking movie called "Level Up" (complete with a Smurfette Video Gamer, total geeks, props from a Power Rangers series three years ago, etc.). Now they've turned it into a really lame TV series.

Exact same thing with that one movie, Re-Animated, which started their live-action junk.

That's why I don't watch television anymore. I rely on the web for good animes/movies, then I buy the ones that are worth it to me~

I saw ads for that, and it looked terrible.

Incredibly so.

And seriously, there are more girl gamers. >_> I know America believes girls are only good for being the annoying girly-girl sister "I can't get my nails dirty" characters, but come on!

I like a book series just as much as the next person, but come on! When did it end up being that all books were a series? There are no independent books anymore. They're all part of a series!

And not just that, they're not numbered 1, 2, 3, 4... They're 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 ,3.75... And that's not even to be funny. The series legitimately numbers books with halves.

Why can't we have one good, free-standing book? I swear I read things and find out, "Oh! It's the first of a series of 25 books that are all crap except the first one." ...Seriously?

Did something in particular inspire this rant?

Also, the same is true of movies nowadays...

I was poking around Goodreads and one of my friends had read a book I read a while back and had the next one marked as "To Read" and I went, "Seriously? That one finished just fine! What's with the freaking sequel?!" So I clicked on it and found that it had 4 in the series with another on the way (supposedly). And then there's another one that she had marked as "To Read" that was 2.2 in a series... Which had 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 ... 1.7, 2.0, 2.1, etc.

I actually read a book that has no sequel.
But I saw the ending coming....it was very cliche.
*sigh* yeah...

Gotta love Crimreaper.

We get back to school and the board says:

Peer Edit Essay
Norton Sampler: 88-90 Q1-9
Personal Narrative

Due tomorrow: Questions, personal narrative, and final copy of essay.

One night to do a narrative? Thanks a lot censored .

She didn't. *sigh* If she keeps doing it, seriously report her to the principal saying she's ridiculous. She should already on "the list."

How long does this narrative have to be?

Yeah that seems pretty unfair, especially since you just got back from break.

Length isn't the problem. You have to interview someone and turn it into a narrative.

^ stuff like that takes more than just one night. I had to do a big narrative paper for college and I had a month to do it, but that's because she wanted it done right.

Okay, interviews can take a while to set up. In COLLEGE we got a month for our interview assignment so we had room to schedule.

Do you have to interview a teacher? She did that to us once. We only had a week. All the teachers wanted to slap her. At least it was one creative writing class.

The interview is the worst part of doing a narrative, especially when you don't have a good time frame.
