This person is reviewing every chapter of Twilight. This is hilarious. However, there's quite a bit of cursing, but whatever. It's worth the read. XD

My friends and I laughed at the Breaking Dawn trailer when we saw Deathly Hallows last night. Also, there was a bit of a grown throughout the theater. XD

I'm sure. The Twitards are always bashing the HP Fans, after all...

The only connection they have are being the most popular fantasy novels currently. Other than that, they shouldn't be compared. Harry Potter got bashed and accused of copying Lord of the Rings, but those two were much more similar, so I can understand why.

HP was also said to copy Star Wars too. Did a whole comparison in the paper. It's called archetypes. It's not like Rowling copied straight out of the book.

Meyer, on the other hand... I heard she plagerized from Vampire Diaries and there was a law suit at some point.

Apparently Meyer had co-written it with one of her college buddies who tried to sue. I'm not sure how far that went.

Somehow, I don't think that's the case, but whatever.

Oh, but Twilight now has a genre of its own. It's called "Abstinence Porn." That's what all young adult fiction is anymore. *sigh*

lol! I'm going to start calling it that. I'm trying to get out of young adult novels, but there's really not a lot of fantasy stuff in the adult section without it having smut in it. Everything is mostly vampire now, but when I find something, the female lead reminds me of Bella in some way.

^ That's because everyone just loves Twlight and Bella. 9_9 That's why I read older young adult fiction. Series that started pre-Twilight or ones that can't possibly be like Twilight. Like anything by Tamora Pierce. She despises Twilight.

Meg Cabot refused to write a vampire novel several year ago, but has a series going on now, but my friend has read the first one and said she actually poked fun of Twilight.

Tamora writes everything in a certain world where, as far as she's said so far, has no vampires. Only awesome gods.

I don't mind vampires if they're done right, though. I really like L.J. Smith's portrayal of vampires in the Night World series.

I like the Vampire Kisses series. Real vampires.

I only read the first two of those. I didn't really like them for some reason.

It might be the brand of commedy. Or the writing style. Some people like different things. That's why Baskin and Robins has 31 flavors of ice cream.

Lemme see if I can find that article saying Twilight's abstinence porn and bashing Bella for being the bane of women's existance...

It was obvious they just wanted to marry for sex, which is the message I got from it all in the end.

It was obvious that Meyer went, "Vampire Diaries is for heathens for they have sex, so I must write an abstinence version that kills all feminism, which is evil!" And thus we have Twilight.
