^ I went, "Wow, that's a really impressive video for a protest. O.o" and then I realized it was Monty Python and went, "Aw. That explains it."

Four, what's this about breast cancer? That's an out-and-out lie. I never heard of a correlation and when I googled it, one of the first results was "Top 10 Abortion Myths."
That is the most idiotic thing... I try not to get to into the abortion stuff, but this is just spreading lies for stupid religious reasons...
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
We were discussing religion in my cultural geography class the other day and she made us list the positives and negatives to religion and there were more things on the negative side than positive side.

Just because they both have huge followings of book-readers doesn't mean they're the SAME huge following of book readers. >_<

Well, it was pretty inevitable that it was going to happen since Summit and Lion's Gate merged a few weeks ago.

-_- OGTs are this week...and I'm going to start my period. I know I am because whenever there's something important going on I start.

^ Don't worry about OGTs. Just make sure you read the question thoroughly and you'll be fine.
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
They're easy but I'm stuck in a room with people I hate. For two hours. I know we can't talk during or after the test but I assume before the test is off limits =.= Oh and no iPods....
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
You can live without an iPod for two hours. That's not too hard.
And there's no talking before, during, or after the test, so you won't have to deal with the people you don't like. If they try anything, they'll auto-fail and be escorted out.

No I keep forgetting my iPod is all XD
So today was rather...yeah. I had the math OGT and I'm not sure I did ok...
Then after school this guy, who my crush and I both find HIGHLY ANNOYING, called us a "cute couple." When he left, my crush said "Y'know, I'm pretty sure he's closer to Jess* than I am to you."
GEE THANKS MAN. WAY TO SAY I DON'T HAVE A CHANCE STRAIGHT TO MY FACE.
And he knows I like him. I'm sure there could be a different interpretation of what he said, but we're all convinced that the annoying guy (I'm sorry, I'm trying to leave names out of this...) and Jess like each other. So he basically told me that I was right, he doesn't like me.
*Jess is the girl that flirts with every guy while she does have a boyfriend, I've mentioned her before.

Hmmmmm Don't know what to tell you with that one. I wouldn't worry too much about it, though. Relationships very rarely last outside high school anyway.
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
While that was a jerk move of both of them I'd recommend if your looking for love. Don't. The best love is the kind you find without even trying... Even if high school relationships don't work out that doesn't mean you should be undetermined to go in a relationship =).

Yeah, but I find people take them too serious. I've seen relationships where you're not allowed to talk to any member of the opposite sex or you're "cheating" on your bf/gf.
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
It's not worth getting into a relationship in high school. It causes stress half the time.

Well, there's something to be said about high school relationships. They do give you experience dating and give you time to figure out what you like/don't like.
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
I've never dated in high school and have yet to find someone worth my time. I'm too picky. But I suppose it's a good thing that I know what I want. I'm not just getting into a relationship because everyone else is.

Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
Better to be picky than to date every guy in school. I knew someone like that... who started dating in Elementary School. What you could do in elementary school is beyond me...
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
Now that's too early. And there's nothing wrong with picky. That said, waiting for the perfect person your whole life isn't the best since without some experience you won't know how to recognize the perfect person when they do come along.
Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
Plus, most high school students don't get the difference between "dating" and "relationships".
Dating means you are going out with someone that you like to know them. THIS MEANS YOU DON'T HAVE A COMMITMENT AS BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND yet.
Relationship means you DO have a commitment.

They just thought they were dating in elementary school, Destiny. Most of the time, kids that age don't even understand the concept of dating. They just say they do because of what they see on Disney Channel and Nick.

^ I know. It was just amusing.
I heard on NPR once that the perfect number of people to date is 9. It gives you a good statistical average. Yay stupid studies.

Kind of concerned about the grade for my math OGT. I swear I flubbed it >.<
The other ones were just fine, but I still have one tomorrow. Social Studies, but I think I'll do OK.

Re: What Grinds my Gears (The Complaint Box)
Don't worry, the OGT's are too easy to fail.
