The Original Character Roleplaying High School Part 2

"But isn't he a big meanie face who made Toby cry. Speaking of, I haven' seen those guys all day..." She looked around for Rose, Toby, and Darcia, but there was still no sign of them. "Maybe they dropped out..." Yes, Seraphim was that easily distracted.

"Well, Keegan always seems to know things we don't," Eliot muttered, "but I don't trust him. If you want to talk to him in private, I understand, but... Call me when you head home or if anything happens, okay?"

"Of course," Eliot replied automatically. He didn't like Annaleigh either, and she was the one who worried him. Keegan was dangerous, yes, but Annaleigh was unpredictable, and that made her even more so. "But that chick that follows Keegan around hates... people like me." He'd told them both about his werewolf problem, but anyone could be listening.

"Fine, go to work. I'd rather you work too much than fight." Aden frowned. "School doesn't know you have this job, do they?" If they had, they wouldn't let Yuuta work that much. Students were only allowed to work certain hours and only for so long by law. If the school knew, Yuuta certainly wouldn't be doing this.

Seraphim hardly reacted to the news, since she already knew. "He told me already. When I was in the hospital." She took a bite of her food and swallowed. "I'm glad I'm not really human, though. I don't think I'd like being a werewolf."

"You couldn't hurt a fly," Eliot informed the angel. "You'd hate being a man-eater." He then turned his attention back to Rena. "Only those who know about it don't like me. Except for you two, a few of my servants who feel sorry for me, and Darcia and friends, those who know usually flip out."

Aden shook his head. "Panopticon at its best, I suppose," he said. "Well, go to work and don't get in trouble, all right?"

"Usually. Big chain leash, heavier than the ones you see on rotweillers (sp?). I have a room set aside for it. Place is a pit, but it's safer than me being out and about."

"I will not," Aden grumbled to himself. He wasn't entirely dependent on Yuuta for company. He'd spent years in the closet back home without a boyfriend, after all. Without Yuuta, he simply would hang out with some of his other friends.

Aden picked up his things and moved to a table full of miscellanious students.

"You sure?" he asked, picking up his things and heading over there. While he knew some of the people at his current table, it turned out there was little in common between them. So talking to some other people would be good, he thought.

"So what're you guys up to?" Aden sat with them, happy to have some people to talk to.

"I heard that!" Eliot called over to Annaleigh and Keegan. They really had to be more careful when talking around him. Even when the full moon was far off his hearing was better than most humans.

Aden chuckled. "Yeah. Seems like Temari stayed home, and Yuuta... Well, I don't really know where he wandered off to. Probably skipping." He completely ignored Eliot's outburst. "So what's with those two?" he asked, gesturing at Keegan and Annaleigh. "The one seems totally stuck up."

"That's not a nice thing to say," Seraphim murmured, "but to be honest, she is a little mean..." She never wanted to offend anyone.

"Here, I'll walk you to class," Eliot said, standing and offering Rena his arm.

"Yeah, just heard the bell." Aden stood and gathered his things one last time. "See you again sometime?" He kind of liked these guys.

Seraphim stood too. "Good luck talking to your brother," she said to Rena before heading off to her own class. She was a little disappointed that she hadn't seen any of Zayden, but she guessed he was hanging out outside somewhere high up.

"Nervous?" Eliot asked. He patted her shoulder reassuringly. "If he tries something, I'll kick his ass."

Seraphim was walking home, feeling a little lonely. She and Rena had always walked home together or gotten a ride from Eliot. This was her first time since her father had been arrested walking home alone.

On occasion, she'd look up at the sky, hoping to spot Zayden somewhere, but there was no sign of his black wings.

Eliot had been about to bristle up at Annaleigh and respond to the insult, but Temari walked up, cutting him off. Probably a good thing. He didn't want anyone else knowing about his werewolf problem. "Oh, just how Annaleigh here is a piece of work and needs to get an attitude adjustment," he replied to the girl's question. He'd purposely slipped the insult in.

Aden was already at home, hanging out in his room and doing homework. He wondered briefly where Yuuta worked. Maybe he could stop by if it were a restaurant or something.
